Customer Support Representative Job Description


Tasks:

  • The customer is always the top priority in everything you do
  • Always use a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers via call/email/chat
  • Have a clear, professional, and informative communication style
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and quick to solve problems
  • Refer any customer questions regarding products or services to the appropriate person
  • Become an expert in the company through documentation, past support tickets, and use of the products within the company
  • Builder of systems. Creating help desk articles, standard operating procedures, and canned responses when they do not yet exist.

Qualifications:

  • Require minimal direct supervision
  • Have at least 3 years experience with customer support
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Adapt quickly to customer priorities
  • Able to work with customers quickly to solve problems
  • Naturally empathetic and articulate communicator
